Astrid Cordes writes songs at the intersection of indie pop and indie rock, where guitar pedals, analogue keyboards and organic drums form the backdrop for deeply personal narratives. In her songwriting she reflects the many phases and nuances of life, and seeks to connect people through storytelling and music. She had her first breakthrough on the Danish indie scene with the duo Shy Shy Shy, who made their mark at festivals, on radio and with music for television. Since 2020 she has continued developing her artistry as a solo artist with a string of critically acclaimed releases.
